Eleanor’s café

Delicious!! so I came there and usually I don’t expect good customer service. I mean it’s bad even in the suburbs, but the Customer service there was remarkable and pleasant. The lady that took care of me has a beautiful bright personality that makes you feel welcome. Her name is Iesha I believe!!

This place was a breath of fresh air. The people here care about their customers... The food is excellent and you can tell the cook loves his job because you can definitely taste the love in the food. If you're looking for good quality food that's not stingy with the portions and has great energy and good vibes then this is the place to go. My husband and I were pleasantly surprised and will be returning sooner than later. We hope to be repeat customers for years to come.

Baaaaaaaby let me tell everyone reading this something! ELEANOR'S CAFÉ (10509 St Clair) IS NOT TO BE PLAYED WITH!!! yes, I'm yelling that! I had the whole wings, mac, yams, and a hushpuppie. Let's talk about how the chicken was seasoned to perfection! I mean Jesus himself laid hands on that seasoning and blessed the chicken. Can I tell you how it was fried to a golden crispy crunchy perfection as well! I ate that chicken to the bone and I NEVER eat chicken to the bone. The mac n cheese.....oooweeee, the mac n cheese, creamy, cheesy, flavorful, overall melt in your mouth goodness! The yams, just the right amount of sweet without being diabeticly sweet, lol. The only thing I would desire to taste in the yams is a little hint of salted butter. Other than that..... my meal was 10 out of 10! I highly recommend, suggest, and encourage you to eat at Eleanor's café. The service was 10 out of 10 as well. The young lady who helped us greeted us as soon as we walked in the door. She was knowledgeable and helpful with questions we had. The ambiance in the café is very laid back and ideal for date night, date day, or simply dinning alone. The color scheme in there is so warm and soul-relaxing.

Went to Eleanor's for Brunch on a Sunday. I ordered Perch with macaroni and cheese and cabbage. It was delicious. The fish was seasoned and battered perfectly!!! I would DEFINITELY visit again. The vibe was dope. Soft music, lots of laughter. I truly enjoyed my experience.

After an excellent breakfast at Eleanor’s Cafe, I had to return for lunch and Soul Food Sunday. Every meal I’ve tried has been amazing. The portions are plentiful and the prices are affordable. The fish was perfectly seasoned and the mac and cheese was the best I’ve had.

I highly recommend Eleanor's Cafe. It's clean, the food is great. The turkey chop dinner with sweet potatoes & mac cheese was on point. Perfect location-right behind the Eastsude Market. Easy parking. Support our local business'
